How to Apply Styling Products

When is the best time to apply styling products and begin blow drying your hair?
I recommend my clients leave there hair wrapped in a towel for three to five minutes after shampooing. Any longer can actually slow drying. It is best to apply your styling product within the next five minutes. Hair will dry faster in areas that are porous, this can result in uneven product distribution. I then recommend that my clients sculpt their hair into a wet version of there style and allow it to air dry until it is ninety percent dry or as long as their schedule will allow.
